Democrats' Surrender policy finds Support in Tehran

Democrats in the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives have found a base of support for their Iraqi surrender at all costs policy: The Islamic Republic of Iran.

Yeah, seems that those Iranians see our troops there as being trouble to their attempts to foster Iranian backed power in the region, in much the same way that they, and their pals in Syria have made Lebannon the jewel of the mideast that it is.

If those unbathed kooks in Iran want us to leave Iraq, like the kooky Democrats here want, then I know for sure that staying there is the best policy. Heck, even turn the war up a notch or so!!

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Monday that the occupying powers are required to announce pullout timetable to stop bloodbath in Iraq.

"We believe that the best way to put an end to alarming bloodbath in Iraq and spread of violence to the neighboring countries is that the occupying forces to leave the country and let the Iraqi government and its nation restore national security," he said.

The Islamic Republic of Iran calls for restoration of national unity and independence of Iraq and believes "that it should help restore security and tranquility as part of its religious and humanitarian responsibilities".

Iran strongly opposes to any sectarian violence or religious conflicts in Iraq, Mottaki said.
"Unfortunately, the wrong policies of the occupiers have left lethal consequences in Iraq," he said.

"We believe that withdrawal of occupying powers from Iraq and collective assistance of neighboring countries to Iraqi democratic government would put an end to the current human losses," he said.

And I say that we take the war to Iran, put Ahmadinejad and every Ayatollah on trial, and hang them, like Saddam.
