Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is now viewed favorably by 19% of American voters and unfavorably by 45%. Just 3% have a Very Favorable opinion while 22% hold Very Unfavorable views.

Let's see... that adds up to 22% Favorable to 77% Unfavorable

Senator Harry Reid, democrat-Nevada, has been very visible over the past week in the furor over immigration reform. The effort to pass a bill that was more popular in Congress than among voters may have hurt public perceptions of the Democratic leader. His ratings are down from a month ago when 26% had a favorable opinion of the Democratic Senator. Reid’s highest ratings were 30% favorable in February.

Meanwhile, forty percent (40%) of American voters say that
President Bush is doing a good or an excellent job on taxes. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 39% say the same about his handling of the economy.

At the other end of the spectrum, just 15% say he is doing a good or an excellent job on immigration. Twenty percent (20%) give him positive marks on energy issues, and 25% offer that positive assessment on health care issues.

The survey was conducted on June 13 and 14 as the President was aggressively working to revive the Senate bill on immigration reform. While important to the President,
ONLY 20% of American voters want the bill revived.

These three figures-- Reid's 22% favorable, Bush's 15%, and the tiny 20% of Americans who approve of the proposed Immigration Amnesty Bill, "S 1348", are telling!
Telling in that Washington will be listening to only about 19-20% of us Americans, in trying to pass this horrible, unpopular immigration bill.

How can they do this to us, the remaining 80% of Americans who do not approve of this abominable Immigration bill?
Are they not OUR employees, our representatives?

This will lead to either a Civil War or a Revolution, at best; At worst, anarchy and lynchings. My opinion leans slightly to the latter; in a very recent poll of all the Localmalcontents who reside within my house, 59% leaned toward anarchy and lynching about 537 of our leaders, while 12% had a favorable view of our representatives.

The remaining 29% of the Localmalcontent household was indifferent, only wanting to see the Chicago Cubs lose again.

That is how it was supposed to be and how it used to be. Not any more, we are their pawns to do what they want with.
