Could It Be..... SATAN??

Jury Awards Father $11M in Funeral Case
By ALEX DOMINGUEZ, Associated Press

BALTIMORE (AP) — A grieving father won a nearly $11 million verdict Wednesday against a fundamentalist Kansas church that pickets military funerals out of a belief that the war in Iraq is a punishment for the nation's tolerance of homosexuality.

Abert Snyder of York, Pa., sued the Westboro Baptist Church for unspecified damages after members demonstrated at the March 2006 funeral of his son, Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, who was killed in Iraq.

The jury first awarded $2.9 million in compensatory damages. It returned later in the afternoon with its decision to award $6 million in punitive damages for invasion of privacy and $2 million for causing emotional distress.

ST. GEORGE, UT -- Polygamist leader Warren Jeffs told family members, in conversations recorded at Purgatory Correctional Facility, that he had been "immoral" with a sister and daughter and that he had renounced his role as prophet of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
First, at the "Purgatory Correctional Facility"?? Wow, that's extreme.
But so was the implied 'immorality'.
And ya just know neither woman will press any charges in these revelations. I hope this de-frocked prophet finds the appropriate 'punishment' in the slammer.
Child Molester.

The jury verdict against the Westboro Baptist Church members is Devine in its decision. No one can yell 'fire' in a theatre, or say 'Hi, Jack!" aboard an airliner. Jokes about bombs are no funny either. So this crappy church defended it's unhuman speech as protected by the Constitutions 1st Amendment.
I only hope that the inevitable appeal will be denied as well, and that this Kansas bucket of slime "church" will have to pay through the nose. 'Bout damn time!

It's never kosher to look down one's nose at the downfall of someone of another faith. But it is precisely because each of these creeps abused their position, that I say this.

"Go Methodists!!"
Trouble in Southeast Oklahoma? Maybe. Looks like it; I may go fishin' for awhile.

These "do whatever you want" phoney churches springing up everywhere is disgraceful and despicable.

They call themselves a fundamentalist Baptist church... well I tell you I was raised here in OK in the First Baptist church and they would NEVER EVER EVER do anything like this.

Any true religion that follows the Bible knows that it is commanded by God to obey the laws of the state and have respect for the dead.

These churches that go off on a political vendetta like the ones crying about the immigration laws are headed off the rails on a crazy train.

ozzy - pastor of the church for the insane

This is what happens when the left gets religion.
