It Won't Take Long for Americans
to Recognize a Flim-Flam Man

Granted, I live within a small world, physically; mostly inside Oklahoma, with irregular visits to Ft. Smith and Mena, Arkansas. My wife and I were in Florida earlier this month as well.
Meaning, the majority of people with whom I speak,

are conservative themselves, & more-than-a-little-sharp !
Likewise, my blogging friends in New York, Jersey, Texas, Kansas, Utah, Georgia

and yes, Illinois.

So, my perspective could be somewhat slanted, based upon what I mainly hear from folks- (*NO!!)
I don't know anyone who is easily juked, or much less, fooled by a con man.

So how long will the rest of America take, especially with such an intense spotlight upon him,
to realize that Mr. 0bama is a Flim-flam man?

Two days into his new job, he has deferred questions regarding his political appointments. His (not ours) Treasury Secretary lied on his tax returns for years; his (not ours) Secretary of State has 'questionable' ties through her former President husband, to filthy, mega- (mega, filthy- ) rich contributors who are also leaders of Arab countries. His nomination for the CIA has no spy, nor intelligence gathering experience; his Attorney General once passed on questioning giving pardons to terrorists and to tax frauds, by the Security of State's husband. (* 1:48 hours later: What an interesting, Freudian slip of the mind, that last sentence's ending.*)

And one needs to look no further than Chicago and Illinois' long history of "good ol' boy politics as usual", to see where this man came from, and indeed, all the politics he has ever experienced.
Although rumored to be a U.S. Senator for around 21 months, scant evidence is known of his time there.

And, where stands Israel now, in this mess?

It may be ugly as (anything) in this country, and in Israel, for the next 24 months.
At that time, citizens will hopefully have the chance, to come to their senses hopefully, and recognize a dangerous trend led by a flim-flam man, and dissolve his base in Congress by voting OUT rats propping up the controversial leader, in 2010.
And That Includes all the elected Spineless, Compliant Republicans~!!

I feel IT in my bones, and in my instinct:
Our country, and we Americans are about to be "Railroaded".
I know that term as derogatory:
I just don't exactly know what it means. ANYONE?

I think the younger generation may need a dose of their medicine, maybe this could free them from their fantasies about liberalism?
But I doubt it...

I think that you make a very good point here, JMom.

The generation of those born in the 60s, 70s and 80s are the most self indulgent and egotistical lot of Americans, in some long time, apparently.
Combine that with an indoctrination in government schools, where little emphasis is given to the meat and grissle of American history, only dates and only wars and such--
and you have what we have now.

No amount of study of the Constitution would be enough, in my opinion, and the circumstances by which it was created.

Gosh, I sound ancient and elderly saying all that, eh? Being born in the 60s and the 70s, as the two of us are, it's a wonder that we aren't Demosocialists, too.
But thank the Lord, above, for our strong families' backgrounds, and being raised in the rural.

Do you remember Robert Reich? Be watching for my Sunday posting over on my blog. You may be surprised at what I will be posting involving what Reich and Rep. Charles Rangel, D-NY, are proposing Obama do with billions of dollars in economic stimulus money.

The vast majority of those born in the 60's, 70's and 80's, will NEVER realize what is happening to them, because their minds are too far gone.

By the way:

RAILROADED - # Informal

1. To rush or push (something) through quickly in order to prevent careful consideration and possible criticism or obstruction: railroad a special-interest bill through Congress.
2. To convict (an accused person) without a fair trial or on trumped-up charges.

3. (transitive) To procedurally bully someone into an unfair agreement.

He was railroaded into signing a non-disclosure agreement at his exit interview.

4. To gain formal approval by manipulation of procedure and haste, as of a law or a formal resolution.
