The humidity index where I live makes it feel like 104. I don't have air conditioning because it would raise my rent by $30.00 a month. I stayed indoors all day, spending most of my time standing under a cold shower (not that it helped much because as soon as I stepped out and dried off I was pouring sweat all over again. I turned a table fan on Munchkin to keep her comfortable.
Do you suppose that this is God's way of giving us a taste of what we are headed for if we don't shape up?
Ya know, Abouna, that is a brilliant idea, stepping under a cool running showerhead every now and then to beat the heat.
Me, I just dip whatever shirt I'm wearing under the tap and put it back on... makes Leticia as mad as a (wet hen?) hornet when I try and come close to her.

No, Hell is still much worse, I think~
Munchkin has it better then me. She has the entire couch to herself with a table top fan aimed right on her.
She is doing a little better, but in order for her to eat, I have to spoon feed her. People tell me I am nuts for doing all that for her, but what the heck, she is one of God's creatures too.
