Memorial Cobwebs

Officially, this image is a copyrighted pic from www.visualphotos.com.

Unofficially, this image represents the fears and the current thinking of the First United Methodist Church in Talihina. There, cynicism has replaced faith in Christ.

The words 'Static Cling', say it all sadly.... The dozen or so people left there
ought to be ashamed letting that church die.

Sadly, many churches are facing the same fate. I have no idea what led to the situation of the First United Methodist Church in Talihina, but I do know that many churches, not only across America, but also around the world, and of many different denominations, are coming under attack from their leaders, ministers and priests.

I just recently read and article that describes how the Wycliff Bible translators are coming out with a Muslim friendly Bible that removes all mention of God the father, Jesus as the Son of God, etc. I will try to see if I can find more information about this and let you know.

There are other Christian denominations that have abandoned Holy Scripture and replaced it with "Feel Good" sermons and "name it and claim it" sermons.

True believers are now as rare as chicken's teeth.

Then you have morons like Obama who is claiming that Jesus wants everyone to pay higher taxes, and you know that there are a lot of fools out there who believe him because he is the "ONE".

Mal,
Been a while since I checked in at the Local Malcontent but good to see a post. The same could be said about the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America). They have let progressives, socialists, communists and the like take over the church. That is why my wife and I found a Bible believing church about 4 years ago.

Sorry, Abouna, your comments, along with certain others, ARE always welcome.

Others, from ZIP 74571, may not be.

Did you get the new cabinets and paint job? how do you like them?

One could say the real attacks on Religious Freedoms are coming from the Obama Regime. I say that and stand by my comments.

Anyone can leave a religion, but a government that props a religion is in violation of the Constitution.
